4 Pics 1 Song iOS Review

Trivia games are very popular on the Apple iTunes App Store. Usually, trivia games require you to read a question, and then you have to type or choose the answer. However, there is one trivia game in iTunes that is trying to be different from the rest. That name of that game is “4 Pics 1 Song.” It is currently one of the highest-rated trivia games on iTunes. If you have heard about 4 Pics 1 Song and you are wondering if you should get it for your iPhone, then read this 4 Pics 1 Song iOS Review.

What is 4 Pics 1 Song?

4 Pics 1 Song is a music-themed trivia game that is developed by Game Circus LLC. It is currently available on iTunes for free. In 4 Pics 1 Song, your task is to guess the title of the song. Unlike other music trivia games where you are simply given a tune or question and then you type the answer, 4 Pics 1 Song gives you four pictures that serve as clues. For instance, if the photos are Eye, Lips, Kissing, and Venus (female) symbol, then the correct title of the song is “I Kissed a Girl.” Instead of typing the title of the song, you choose the letters of the song’s title from two rows of letters on the bottom of the screen.

Gameplay

Each level in 4 Pics 1 Song is basically the same. You are given four pictures on the top and two rows of letters on the bottom of the screen. You look at the pictures, convert them into words in your head, and then combine those words to get the title of the song. Some of the pictures can be confusing or misleading so it can be difficult to guess the title of a song. You need to be familiar with many song titles in order to solve all of the song puzzles in 4 Pics 1 Song.

Like all trivia games, you will usually find yourself stuck on a question that you don’t know the answer to. You can use the in-game coins to buy hints that will make it easier for you to guess the answer of the song. One of the hints deletes incorrect letters from the bottom of the screen. The other hint shows a correct letter of the song’s title. You can earn coins by answering song puzzles correctly. If you run out of coins, you can purchase more coins using actual money (via credit card). If you don’t want to buy the hints, you can ask for help from your friends by tapping on the Twitter or Facebook icon next to the hint icons. It is quite fun to try to guess the song title in each puzzle, but it is best to play 4 Pics 1 Song with a friend because two heads are better than one.
